Abstract Submission Procedure
All participants are invited to submit abstracts for presentation in Free Paper / Poster Sessions.

The abstract form can be downloaded here. Please submit your abstract by mail (with a disc containing the soft copy) or email to the Congress Secretariat:

Guidelines for Submission of Abstracts

1. Submitted material should not be previously published.
2. Abstracts must be in English and submitted to the Secretariat (together with one soft copy in text or MS Word format) before 5 August, 2011 (postmark). Abstracts sent in by fax will not be accepted. For submission via internet, please follow the instructions and complete the e-form (Online Abstract Submission).
3. The confirmation of acceptance by the Scientific Committee will be communicated to the Presenting Author by 3 October, 2011. If no answer is received by 7 October, 2011, please contact the Secretariat.
4. In order to avoid disruption of Session by 'No-Show', accepted abstracts will only be integrated and printed in the Final Programme if the Presenting Author has registered and paid the registration fee in full by 10 October, 2011.
5. The exact schedule of presentation will be communicated to the Presenting Author by 18 October, 2011.
6. You may list any number of Co-authors on the abstract headline, provided it does not exceed the given space.
7. Presenting Author - The name on the Abstract Form must be identical to the name written in the Congress Registration Form.
8. Email Address - Any communications regarding the acceptance will only be given to the Presenting Author at the indicated email address.
9. To avoid duplication, please do NOT send in your abstract again by post if you have already completed your submission on-line. If you wish to make any changes or amendments, please contact the Congress Secretariat. Do NOT re-submit the abstract.
10. Abstract submitted on-line will receive a confirmation by e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact the Congress Secretariat.

Young Investigator Award
Young Investigator Awards of HK$2,000 each will be awarded for the best paper presentations on cancer-related topics as well as psychosocial oncology. Investigators under the age of 35 as on 3 November, 2011 are eligible to participate. Authors should indicate on the abstract form if they wish to have their abstracts considered for the Award.
