Invitation

Dear Colleagues,

19th Hong Kong International Cancer Congress
Theme: Translating Innovative Research to Effective Treatment

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 19th Hong Kong International Cancer Congress to be held on 8 – 9 November, 2012 in The Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, HKAM Jockey Club Building, 99 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong. The 19th Hong Kong International Cancer Congress is being held in a unique celebratory year which marks 125th anniversary celebration of our medical faculty. Founded in 1887, the Faculty of Medicine has a distinguished legacy and is the longest established faculty in the tertiary education in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong International Cancer Congress aims to provide an active forum in addressing key issues in cancer strategy, cancer care and cancer research. It showcases the best of cancer care and cancer research by assembling prominent physicians, leading scientists and medical oncologists to share their experience and knowledge with us. The meeting shall provide insight into the cause and processes of the disease.

To highlight the importance of translating knowledge derived from research and practice to benefits for those affected by cancer, we shall provide a high quality multi-disciplinary programme that focuses on new developments and challenges, including topics of global and regional interests. The meeting offers State-of-the-Art lectures, complemented by focused symposia, educational symposia and professionally-led workshops across a variety of topics. For information on registration and abstract submission, please visit our website: www.hkicc.org.

The 2-day Congress represents an ideal platform to network and connect. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in this dynamic and vibrant meeting.
